Gold is a neutral is a sustainable fashion company based in the United Kingdom, crafting fair trade bags made from textiles and fabrics woven with cultural stories from artisans.
We worked with the brand philosophy of "all things celebration." Celebrating the textiles, celebrating the artisans, celebrating the journey.
In an endeavour to establish a simple and beautiful brand, we have used a minimal design language and classic delicate typography, in crafting the branding and identity.
The founder is passionate about Gold being a thing of everyday, and life being a celebration of all things beautiful. In keeping with her spirit, gold accents are seen all across the brand. In her words, "Always wear the gold shoes."

This book is a celebration of all things beautiful.
The crests and troughs in the human waves of emotion. It speaks of you, it speaks of us.
It speaks of the moon and stars, lands and seas, and everything in between. It is our interpretation of soul searching and worldly yearnings, an amalgamation of art and poetry.
A journey of visual and literary exploration, which we wish to embark upon with you.
..
Let us sail in the seas of calm, against the tides of disarray.
Let us breathe, and satiate our souls with the fire that is sparked with alluring artistic strokes and seek solace in gentle words of poetry.

The passion behind the duo of photographers comes from capturing artistic frames and raw light in beautiful food and interesting people.

Package Design for no nasties, an organic and fair-trade clothing company.
Using the brand philosophy of being a simple and beautiful brand with a focus on sustainability and caring for the environment, the packaging was designed using bold typography on recyclable cloth bags with jute drawstrings. The cloth bags are woven in a village near auroville by a women's group giving employment to domestic workers.
The brand beliefs of being Pure & Purposeful, Beautiful & Ethical, Simple & Sustainable and Happy & Compassionate have been used typographically, to bring to light the philosophy behind the sustainable clothing company.
..
We had worked on a previous round of packaging for the same brand. The focus was on simplicity and sustainability, as well as finding an eco- friendly solution that encourages the consumer to re-use the packaging.
The packaging was desgined in the shape of a Pizza Box using bold verbose typography and info-graphics. The idea behind using interesting quotes on the top of the packaging, was used to establish a connect with consumers and make it relatable, so that one would want to preserve the box and re-use it for home storage etc. The brand philosophy of being a people-friendly company believing in simplicity & sustainability, is illustrated through the box in little anecdotes on the corners and sides.

A 'tea table book' illustrating the experience behind the beautiful ceremony of tea drinking.
This is a book of memories, experiences, fondness and associations with tea. A soulful journey taking the reader across a labyrinth of emotions associated with tea, and thoughts that one encounters amidst steaming cups of chai. It is about the poetry in the spices and love instilled into the craft of making the perfect cup.
Titled 'Everyone's cup of tea', this is a Master's thesis project, that entails branding the experience of tea in India, and brings to light the cultural and emotional influences on tea drinking.
In here you will find imagery, poetry and prints that take you across tea plantations and the hills, and to the streets of Calcutta lined with tea vendors selling chai in earthenware. Read about experiences from tea makers to tea devourers, and the author's intoxicating experiences and nostalgia associated with the magic in tea.
Would you fancy a cup of tea?
